Arriving at your Pinkham Vacation Rental Home

Finding and entering your vacation home is the first step to enjoying your vacation, and is sometimes a source of concern for travelers. At Pinkham Vacation Rentals, we do everything possible to make check-in a smooth and simple process to take the stress out of arrival. Here is exactly what to expect when arriving at your Pinkham vacation home!

 

Directions and Access Information

Five to seven days prior to your reservation start date, you’ll receive an email from us with directions and access information for your vacation home. This message fills you in on how to get to the home, what to bring along for your trip, and how to unlock the home when you arrive.

TIP: Download our app to get all of your vacation home information in one place! Directions, access codes, parking information, and local recommendations are all accessible through the app. If you have multiple groups arriving separately, the app is a very simple way to share directions and door codes.

Check-in

Check-in starts at 3pm. Anytime after 3pm, you can head straight to your vacation home. At the front door, you’ll find either a keyless pinpad or a lockbox with a key inside. The code and specific instructions will be included in your Directions and Access Information message.

Lockboxes: Enter your code, then push down on the lever. Next, pull the lockbox door open – the key is inside.

 

KEYLESS ENTRY PINPADS: Enter your code. In most cases the door will unlock automatically. To lock the door, simply press the button with the lock on it. A few of our rentals have keypads with special instructions. At these homes, there is a note above the door knob explaining how the keypad works.

 

If you plan to arrive after dark, no need to worry. An exterior light will be left on for you. Several interior lights will be left on as well. 

At homes with cable TV, the television will be on at a low volume when you arrive. The remotes will be near the television. Also, there is a reference sheet available in the app in case you’re unfamiliar with the cable remote.

 

Linens

Pinkham Vacation Rentals will provide sheets, pillowcases, towels, wash cloths, hand towels, and kitchen towels for your stay. Each bed will have pillows and a comforter. Clean sheets will be neatly pressed, folded, and stacked at the foot of each bed. Folded towels will be placed on the beds and in each of the bathrooms. You’ll also find kitchen towels near the sink.

 

Resources

You will find a white information binder in the kitchen. Inside is the wifi password, general information about the home, and suggestions for local activities. This information is also available in our app.
