We’ve all seen videos of Black Friday at WalMart and Target – the doors open and a swarm of people crash through the gates, trampling each other and battling over electronics. Well, you won’t find crazed crowds flooding into stores and fighting over televisions at a Settlers Green Black Friday, because there’s plenty of space for everyone, but you WILL find great deals on already-reduced prices for designer clothes, home goods, and more! The best part – it’s ALL tax-free!
A Week of Deals
The deals at Settlers Green start early and last until the end of the week. On the Wednesday morning before Thanksgiving all the way through Sunday night, you’ll find bargains on everything from polos at Ralph Lauren to hiking boots at Timberland. Settlers Green is closed for the day of Thanksgiving, but reopens early at 6am on Black Friday itself. Make sure to visit the Customer Service outlet (C-13) – they’ll hand you a hot chocolate and a coupon book! Settlers Green stays open until 9pm, so you can shop yourself silly. It reopens for regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Many people consider the era of the Mall Santa to be a thing of the past, but that’s not the case at Settler’s Green! Bring the kids to meet Santa Claus. He’s making a stop for photos (and probably some cookies, too) – don’t miss it! In fact, you might even consider spending Christmas in the Mount Washington Valley – what could be more fun than celebrating in your very own vacation rental home?
Something for Everyone
Planning to spend time outdoors? Check out the Columbia outlet for SPF-enhanced gear. Headed to a wedding? Pick up a few dress shirts at Van Heusen. Needs a present for your granddaughter? Stop by Osh Kosh B’gosh. If you need a pick-me-up, visit the Brookstone outlet, full of entertaining products like massage chairs and electronics. There’s no shortage of outlet options for the whole family.
You’ll certainly work up an appetite over your day full of shopping. Never fear, there are great dining options right in Settlers Green and its neighboring outlet center, Settler’s Common. The Met is a locally-owned coffee shop for a morning caffeine boost. The White Mountain Cupcakery sells, you guessed it, delicious and unique cupcakes for a tasty snack. Wicked Fresh Craft Burgers and the Black Cap Grille are two nearby options which are perfect for lunch, and locally-owned! Cap it off with a visit to Barley and Salt, an up-and-coming valley favorite for dinner.
