North Conway’s Top 5 Spring Events

Are you planning a trip to North Conway this Spring? With warming temps, sunny Spring skiing and deals on end-of-season lodging, Spring is a great time to visit. Here are our top 5 Must-Do Spring Events in North Conway.

1) Red Parka Pub Challenge Cup

The Red Parka Pub Challenge Cup is a fundraiser for the Eastern Slope Ski Club, a local non-profit that raises funds to ensure that kids who grow up in Mount Washington Valley have access to the skiing that makes our area famous. What makes this a Must-See event is that it brings out the best local ski racers, as well as accomplished racers from further afield. Plant yourself trailside and watch in awe as the local “best-of-the-best” carve perfect turns at crazy speeds. Afterwards, stop by the Parka and see the racers in person.

5) Tuckerman Inferno Pentathlon

Watch some of the best athletes in the Northeast as they compete for the title of Tuckerman or Tuckerwoman. Sponsored by the Friends of Tuckerman Ravine, the Inferno is a fundraiser to help preserve and protect the unique sub-alpine and alpine slopes of Mt Washington. Starting with an 8+ mile uphill run, followed by 6+ miles of kayaking in frigid waters, then an 18+ mile bike ride, a 3+ mile hike up to Tuckerman’s Ravine and finishing with a ski down to the base through Tuckerman’s Ravine, the Inferno is an inspiring and exciting event to watch.
